Show Information:
Overseeing lead carpenter and team of carpenters through budgeting, build, load in, and strike of
upcoming production. Managed $5800 budget and handled purchasing and ordering of materials.
The Process:
Working on this show presented a lot of really fun challenges for me. Engineering a ceiling unit to span over 25' across and also be hung on an angle was certainly something new to me. 700lbs and 6 linesets later we had a ceiling which is one of my most proud pieces of work. This project also allowed me to learn CNC software for the trees as well as working with engineered I-beams to support the pit platform.
